Fail to appear
23 year old Tina Waboose of 158 Biish Rd in Thessalon was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failing to re-attend court. It is alleged that she failed to appear in court on the 17 of September 2012. She is scheduled for a bail hearing on October 26 2012
Theft from Vehicles
Theft from vehicles in the area of Birchwood St., Elaine Ct., Idaho Dr., Tuckett St. and Arizona Ave.
Shoplifting:
22 year old Jessica Menard of Government Road in Bruce Mines was arrested at Sears at 8:40 p.m. charged with shoplifting 4 packages of bra accessories values at approximately 35.00. She will appear in court on 26 November 2012.
Stolen vehicle:
A vehicle was reported stolen from Albert Street East. Stolen is a white GMC Sierra Pickup with tinted windows, Ontario licence 1884YR. Keys were in the vehicle.
Deer struck:
A deer was struck by a vehicle on Second Line West in Prince Township. A traffic officer attended the collision and dispatched the injured animal with his firearm. No injuries were reported by the driver.
Break and Enter:
A break and enter was reported sometime during the evening of 23 Oct 2012 to a residence in the 100 block of Pine St. There was extensive damage done to the residence including damage from spilled paint and items stolen that may be easier to identify. Entry was gained through a front window. Taken was jewelry including a 1930’s Mason’s ring with a ruby, cash, various denominations of Afghanistan currency and various collector sports cards.
Hit and run:
A hit and run motor vehicle collision was reported at approximately 8:15 p.m. It is reported that an older model brown Ford pickup truck struck a van at the intersection of Peoples Road and Second Line causing it to be pushed into the intersection then fled northbound up Peoples Road without stopping. The vehicle may have damage to the front driver’s side. Anyone having information regarding this hit and run or can assist with identifying the suspect vehicle is asked to call Traffic Services at 705 949-6300.
Bail Court:
A 17 year old youth was arrested at a family dispute for assault on his father and failing to comply with an undertaking with conditions not to physically interfere with his father. He will appear in bail court Thursday morning.
Breach:
A 28 year old female was arrested for breach of the peace and held overnight until in a sober condition after officers attended a domestic dispute and found the female in an intoxicated state, becoming assaultive and causing a disturbance. She failed to leave the area when directed on several occasions and was subsequently arrested.
