Four Persons Arrested on Outstanding Warrants: 1) 31 year-old Alan Knight of 86 Adrian Drive was arrested on the 22nd of October at 8 pm on Bay Street and charged with one count of breach of a release document.
Four Persons Arrested on Outstanding Warrants:

1) 31 year-old Alan Knight of 86 Adrian Drive was arrested on the 22nd of October at 8 pm on Bay Street and charged with one count of breach of a release document. It is alleged that city police stopped and checked the accused during a routine stop on Bay Street just before 8 pm last night. The check revealed that the accused was wanted on an outstanding warrant in Alberta and was on a bail release recognizance with conditions to remain within the province of Alberta. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

2) A 44 year-old male was arrested on the 23rd of October at 1:20 am on Queen Street East and charged with one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused was wanted on an outstanding warrant from a domestic related incident in which he threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend on the 21st of October.

3) 23 year-old Mitchell Sim of 616 Portage Lane was arrested on the 22nd of October at 5 pm on Clearview Drive and charged with one count of fail to appear court. It is alleged that city police stopped the accused in his vehicle during a routine traffic stop and discovered that he was wanted on an outstanding warrant failing to appear court on the 12th of June 2006 on probation and parole charges. He is to appear in court on the 24th of November.

4) 37 year-old Richard Bradley of 35 Blue Jay Court was arrested on the 22nd of October at 1 pm at the city police station after turning himself in. It is alleged that he was wanted on outstanding warrants for two counts of breach of probation for failing to make restitution and failing to report as per conditions of his probation order. He is to appear in court on the 24th of November.

City Police Investigating A Robbery Overnight at the Queen Street Variety Store

City police attended at the Queen Street Variety Store last night at 10:33 pm for a report of a robbery. An employee reported that at around 10:30 pm a lone male entered the store with a knife in his hand, grabbed money out of the cash register and fled on foot. The description of the suspect was approximately 5’8’ – 5’9, in his 40’s wearing a jacket and dark glasses. Officers checked the area but could not locate the suspect. The investigation is continuing.

Property Crimes:

Four Break and Enters Reported:

1. A residence on Queen Street West was entered sometime over the past two days. Two televisions were reported stolen.
2. A residence on Grove Crescent was entered on the 22nd of October. No report of anything stolen.
3. An attempt break and enter occurred at 7:30 pm to a residence on Elmwood Avenue. The alarm was activated when a window was slid open, but no entry was gained.
4. A residence on Wallace Terrace was entered overnight. It is not known if anything was taken.

Mischief Reports:

- City police received a mischief call last night around 8:45 pm from The Road House Bar and Grill on Trunk Road after a male broke the glass door when he was leaving. The male left the area in a blue van. Officers are continuing the investigation.
- A vehicle parked on Second Line West was damaged.
- A truck hood was damaged when it was parked at Alexander High School yesterday.
