Following Two Persons are to Attend in Bail Court this Morning:

Male Arrested for Dated Sexual Offences:

A 48 year-old male was arrested on the 21st of October at 7:30 pm at the city police station and charged with three counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual interference. It is alleged that on numerous occasions from 2002 to 2004, the accused sexually assaulted and touched a young female under the age of 16 years in an inappropriate sexual manner. The accused and the victim are known to each other and the offences occurred at the residences of the accused and the victim. The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.

Impaired Driver Arrested at Canada Customs:

44 year-old David Walker of no fixed address was arrested last night at Canadian Customs and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count if consume over the legal limit. At around 11:33 pm last evening, city police were called to Canadian Customs on Huron Street regarding a male impaired driver that was being held custody. It is alleged that the accused, operating a Ford Pickup truck on the bridge on route to Canada from the States, crossed the centre line several times and struck the guard rails. Police attended at Customs and took the accused into custody.

Theft Reports:

Vehicles were entered on Simpson Street, The Drive and Ontario Avenue. An iPod, a cheque book and a JVC car stereo were reported stolen.
