Domestic Related Arrest The only entry for bail court appearance this morning is the arrest of a 42 year-old male on the 1st of October at 8:35 pm at his residence in relation to domestic related incidents. He was charged with five counts of assault.

The only entry for bail court appearance this morning is the arrest of a 42 year-old male on the 1st of October at 8:35 pm at his residence in relation to domestic related incidents. He was charged with five counts of assault. It is alleged that on the 1st of October around 8 pm city police attended for a domestic incident involving the accused and his common law spouse at their residence. The accused had pushed the victim into a wall and into the kitchen sink. Officers investigating the incident learned that the victim has been assaulted by the accused on four previous occasions. During these incidents, the victim received minor injuries as a result of the assaults.

Second Female Charged with Stolen Property Found During Execution of Drug Warrant

A second person was arrested in connection to stolen property found during the execution of a drug search warrant that was executed at 489 Cathcart Street (Main) on the 22nd of September. A stolen digital camera, an iPod and a HP Laptop were found in the residence of the accused during the course of the search. The items were stolen from a residence break and enter on the 30th of July on Albion Street.
The accused, 41 year-old Darlene Owl was arrested on the 1st of October at 4:34 pm at her residence and charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime.

Make Arrested for Causing Damage at St. Vincent’s Place

29 year-old Peter Miller of #1-414 Queen Street West was arrested on the 1st of October at 8:22 pm on James Street and charged with one count of mischief. On the 1st of October at approximately 12:39 am city police were called to St. Vincent’s Place on Albert Street East for a male that was intoxicated, causing a disturbance and attempting to gain entry into St. Vincent’s Place. It is alleged that the accused was upset that staff would not allow him inside due to his condition and punched the entrance door, breaking the glass. The accused left the area. Officers located the accused at 8:22 pm at a residence on James Street. He is to appear in court on the 3rd of November.

Property Crimes:

Theft Reports


- A complainant reported their wallet stolen on the Greyhound Bus that was on route from Sudbury to the Sault. Their identification, a bank card and cash were inside the wallet.
- A vehicle was entered in the 200 block of Upton Road. Canadian Tire money, the ownership and insurance card were stolen.

Mischief Reports

- A greenish coloured Pathfinder of Jeep tore up the sod of a lawn at a residence on Fauquier Avenue last night around 6:44 pm.
- A youth threw a rock from a window of the school bus he was riding striking a windshield of a vehicle, damaging it. The incident occurred at the intersection of Second Line and Great Northern Road around 8:55 am yesterday morning. Officers are investigating are continuing to investigate this incident.

Break and Enter Report

- One break and Enter was reported to a garage in the 300 block of Carpin Beach Road. Two Motor Cross Bikes, an equipment bag, and a chain saw were reported stolen.
