Domestic Disputes: 2 adult males were arrested today as a result of outstanding warrants for domestic related incidents. Both men will appear in bail court tomorrow at 10:00am.

2 adult males were arrested today as a result of outstanding warrants for domestic related incidents. Both men will appear in bail court tomorrow at 10:00am. A 24 year old was charged with 2 counts of breach of probation and a 41 year old man was charged with assault and threatening to cause death.

Arrest:

A 35 year old male was arrested as a result of domestic violence incidents and will be appearing in bail court this morning.  It is alleged that the day after he was placed on probation in December of last year he attended at the residence of a female he was on conditions not to molest, harass or physically interfere with and assaulted her.  The female did not report the assault to police at that time.  It is further alleged that between the 25th of October and the 31st of October the accused sent 77 text messages to the complainant although she had told him to stop.  When she stated she would call police it is alleged he threatened to kill her.  As a result she contacted police.  The accused is facing charges of assault, threatening, criminal harassment and breach of probation.

Possession:

52 year old Victor Duffield of 470 John Street will be appearing in bail court today.  It is alleged that on the 31st of October the accused was found to be in an intoxicated condition despite being on a release document with a condition to abstain from the purchase, possession or consumption of alcohol.  Upon being searched he was found to be in possession of a quantity of hashish.  He is charged with two counts of breach of a recognizance and one count of possession of a controlled drug.

Property Crimes:

An I-Pad was reported stolen from a student at Sault College.  The student had left the I-Pad unattended and when he returned to retrieve it, it was gone.  

A vehicle was reported spray painted in the 300 block of Langdon Rd.

A house was reported to have been egged on Melville Road.
