Two Persons Arrested in Domestic Related Incidents

1) A 39 year-old female was arrested on the 14th of May at 5:05 pm at her residence and charged with one count of threaten death or bodily harm and two counts of indecent phone calls. It is alleged that from the 1st of May to the 14th of May the accused made repeated telephone calls to her ex-common law husband. Some of the calls were obscene and threatening in nature. The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.

2) A 32 year-old male was arrested on the 14th of May around 9 am at his residence and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 14th of May at approximately 8:40 am the accused assaulted his common law spouse at their residence by pushing and choking her. The victim received non-life threatening injuries.
The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.

Break and Enters Reported Yesterday

1) A residence on Douglas Street was entered on the 14th of May. Medication and a safe that contained some cash were reported stolen.

2) There was an attempt break and enter reported at the Fish Culture Station on Fish Hatchery Road This occurred sometime between the 12th -13th of May. There was nothing reported taken.
