Female Arrested for Breaching Release Order Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 36 year-old Lori Ann Silvano of 601 Cooper Street at 4:15 pm yesterday and charged her with one count of breach of a release document.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 36 year-old Lori Ann Silvano of 601 Cooper Street at 4:15 pm yesterday and charged her with one count of breach of a release document. It is alleged that between the 10th and 11th of May the accused breached a recognizance order by sending numerous e-mails to a person that she was on conditions not to communicate with.

Two Shoplifters Arrested
On the 11th of May officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service attended at the Canadian Tire Store with regards to two shoplifters that were apprehended by security officers. It is alleged that the two attended at the store around 4:45 pm and stole a number of items. As a result, 26 year-old Tarrant Graham of 326 Albert Street West and 28 year-old Jennifer Adams of 329 First Avenue have been charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and are to appear in court on the 13th of June.

Male Youth Arrested for Assault and Mischief
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 14 year-old male youth at 9:50 pm last evening and charged him with one count of assault and one count of mischief under $5,000. It is alleged that on the 11th of May at approximately 9:45 pm the accused assaulted his mother and smashed a phone at his residence. The accused is to appear in court on the 14th of June.

Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 26 year-old Dustin Schrik of 561 Dundas Street at 11 pm last night on an outstanding probation and parole warrant and charged him with two counts of beach of probation. He is to appear in court on the 13th of June.

Mischief Reports
• Two males attempted to break into a vehicle on Dennis Street at approximately 2:23 am this morning. A fence on the property was also damaged. The owner chased them to the train tracks behind Wellington Street East but the two were able to get away. Police searched the area with negative results. The males were described as both being their early 20’s. One was wearing a red Adidas jacket and one a black ball hat.
• A bus shelter window on McNabb Street near Brien Avenue was damaged. A male and female were observed fleeing after the window was smashed. The male was wearing a white sweater and carrying a case of beer; the female was wearing dark clothing.
• A vehicle on East Street was vandalized.
• A vehicle on Bloor Street West was vandalized.
