Three Persons For Bail Court: Two persons were arrested and charged in relation to domestic incidents. 59-year-old Lyle Wayne Porter of 1223 Trunk Road was arrested and charged for allegedly assaulting a female known to him.

Two persons were arrested and charged in relation to domestic incidents.

59-year-old Lyle Wayne Porter of 1223 Trunk Road was arrested and charged for allegedly assaulting a female known to him.

Arrests:

55-year-old Paul Stanley Smith of 231 Brown Street was arrested and charged for allegedly assaulting a security guard at the Station Mall (293 Bay Street) after he was directed to leave the premises.  No injuries were reported.  The accused will be attending court on the 30th of April 2012 at 9:00 a.m.

37-year-old Melaina Bourgeois of 157 Willow Avenue was arrested in regards to an outstanding warrant for allegedly breaching her probation order.  She was released with a court date of the 30th of April 2012 at 9:00 a.m.  

Break And Enters:

-A garage in the 200 block of Birchwood Street.  Change was stolen.
-A business on Allen’s Side Road.  Nothing was reported stolen.
-An attempt break and enter to a residence in the 400 block of Charles Street.

Thefts And Property Crimes:

-A vehicle was damaged in the 100 block of Henrietta Avenue.
-A coat and keys were stolen from a vehicle on Conmee Avenue.
-Gas was stolen from a business in the 500 block of Great Northern Road.

Wanted male Jeffrey Mayhew arrested

The accused Jeffrey Brian Mayhew was located in a combined effort by the Sault Ste Marie Police Service’s Patrol Division and Street Team around 8:45 this morning on Trunk Road in Sault Ste. Marie. 

He was arrested without incident and has been charged with one count of assault with a weapon, one count of threatening death, one count of possession of a prohibited weapon, one count of possession of a weapon contrary to a court order, and two counts of breach of probation.

The accused is to appear in bail court tomorrow morning.
