Four persons to appear in bail court Early this morning city police arrested an 18-year-old male. It is alleged that on Dec 11th, 2009 the accused, in the company of two other males, broken into a residence in the 100 block of Breton Rd.

Early this morning city police arrested an 18-year-old male. It is alleged that on Dec 11th, 2009 the accused, in the company of two other males, broken into a residence in the 100 block of Breton Rd. It is further alleged that once inside the residence the three accused assaulted a male resident and demanded money from him. At the time of this offence the accused was on a probation order release. Charged with three counts of breach of probation and one count of break and enter with the intent to commit robbery is Andrew Petts, age 18, of no fixed address.

City police arrested a 49-year-old male last night on a warrant for assault. It is alleged that on March 16th 2010 the accused male assaulted his girlfriend by punching her. The victim did not require medical attention.

At approx 5:15 pm yesterday afternoon city police arrested Mitchell Cone, age 37, of no fixed address, on seven counts of breach of a recognizance. It is alleged that at the time of his arrest the accused was under the influence of alcohol, had possession of alcohol and was not residing where he was directed to live.

Early yesterday morning city police arrested a 16-year-old female and charged her with one count of escape from lawful custody. It is alleged that at approx. 6:00 pm on March 9th the accused escaped from a youth detention centre in the downtown area. The accused was located in a residence in the north-central part of town.

Male arrested for theft under $ 5,000

Yesterday afternoon city police attended at the Sears Store in the Station mall and arrested a 33-year-old male for theft under $ 5,000. It is alleged that at approx. 3:00 pm the accused entered the Sears Store and stole a bottle of cologne valued at $86.00. Accused was apprehended outside the store by security. Charged with one count of theft under $ 5,000 is Emanuel Esteves, age 33 of 43 Indiana Dr. He will be appearing in court on April 26th.

Youth arrested for theft under $ 5,000

Yesterday afternoon city police attended at the Zellers Store in the Station Mall and arrested a 12-year-old female for theft under $ 5,000. It is alleged that the accused attended at the Zellers Store and stole a package of hair dye valued at approx. $12.00. The accused will be appearing in court on April 20th at 9:30 am.

Male arrested for theft under $ 5,000

At approx 4:30 am this morning city police attended at the Metro Store in the Churchill Plaza and arrested a male for theft under $ 5,000. It is alleged that the accused male entered the store and stole approx. $ 3.75 worth of groceries. Charged with one count of theft under $ 5,000 is Daniel McGrath, age 56, of 45 Tamarack St. He will be appearing in court on April 26th.

Break and Enter

A residence in the 100 block of Routledge Ave was entered –unknown what was taken.
An apartment in the 300 block of Lake St was entered- electronic items were stolen.

Mischief

Two vehicles were reported damaged yesterday.
A vehicle parked in the 300 block of Boundary Rd was egged and damaged.
A vehicle parked in the 100 block of Queen St. E. was damaged.

Theft

A 1989 Yamaha light blue ATV 4 wheeler was stolen from a shed in the 700 block of Frontenac St.
Vehicles were entered and items stolen from the following locations:
The 300 block of Devon Rd – personal identification stolen.
The 100 block of Rockport Rd. - small amount of cash taken.
The 300 block of Old Garden River Rd. – purse and cash taken.
