Two persons to appear in bail court: Yesterday members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested two males for domestic related offences. Females arrested for theft: Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste.

Two persons to appear in bail court:

Yesterday members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested two males for domestic related offences.

Females arrested for theft:

Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 40-year-old female for theft under $ 5,000. It is alleged that the accused attended at the Sears Store in the Station Mall and stole clothing valued at $ 54.00. The accused was arrested by store security and turned over to police. Rhonda Walker, age 40, of 59 Old Garden River Rd. Apt # 645 is charged with one count of theft under $ 5,000. Ms. Walker is to appear in court on April 23rd at 9:00 am.

Early this morning members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 20-year-old female for theft. It is alleged that the accused stole Christmas ornaments from a residence in the 600 block of Cooper St. The accused was arrested by the home owner and turned over to police. Debilyn Nelson, age 20, of 318 North Syndicate Rd,Thunder Bay, Ontario is charged with one count of theft under $ 5,000. Ms. Nelson is to appear in court on April 16th at 9:00 am.

Male arrested for failing to appear for court:

Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested an 18-year-old male for failing to appear for court. It is alleged that the accused failed to appear for court on March 12th.Christopher Simpson-Johnston, age 18, of 441 Queen St. W. Apt. # 308 is charged with one count of failing to appear for court. Mr. Simpson-Johnston is to appear in court on April 23rd at 9:00 am.

Property crimes:

Break and enter

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service investigated reported break and enters at residences in the 200 block of Bainbridge St and the 100 block of Spruce St. In both incidents electronics were reported stolen.

Theft:

Passports were reported stolen from a residence in the 1200 block of Second Line W.
Electronic equipment was reported stolen from a business in the 100 block of Great Northern Rd.
On Wednesday night a lone male approached a female at the bus terminal and stole her wallet. Anyone that may have witnessed this incident is asked to contact the Sault Ste Marie Police Service Investigative Services.
