Outstanding Warrant

The only arrest entry at this time is for 20 year-old Ashley Swanson arrested on an outstanding warrant on the 4th of June at 12:10 am on Wellington Street West. She has been charged with one count of fail to appear for prints. She is to appear in court on the 6th of July.

Property Crimes:

Thefts:

• A black Hard Rock Mountain bike was reported stolen from Bloor Street West.
• A front plate was stolen from a vehicle parked on West Street.
• A 1200 Watt generator was reported stolen from Old Garden River Road.
• A packer was reported stolen from the Rainone Construction property sometime overnight.

Mischief Reports:

• A vehicle was keyed in a parking lot at Bawating High School sometime yesterday.
• A window at Isabel Fletcher Public School was broken sometime overnight on the 2nd of June.

Motor Vehicle Collision:

Yesterday afternoon at 3:40 pm City Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Black Road that resulted in one passenger receiving minor injuries. It is alleged that a Jeep pulled out of a private drive onto Black Road intending to travel southbound when it was struck by a Dodge van that had been travelling northbound on Black Road. The driver of the Jeep, 21 year-old Joseph Lee of 736 Bar River Road in Echo Bay was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with fail to yield from private drive.
A 52 year-old female passenger in his vehicle received minor injuries. Moderate damage was reported to the vehciles.
