One Shoplifting Related Arrest
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 39 year-old Scott Erdman of # 4–262 Wellington Street West on the 20th of June on an outstanding warrant at his residence. He has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000 in relation to a shoplifting incident at Canadian Tire that occurred on the 8th of July when he allegedly attended at the store and stole two fishing rods. He is to appear in court on the 22nd of August.

Break and Enter Report
A residence on Brown Street was entered on the 20th of July between 12:00 pm and 1:30 pm. Nothing appeared to be stolen at the time.

Mischief Reports
Vehicles were vandalized in the area of the 600 block of Macdonald Avenue, the 500 block of Albert Street East and the 200 block of Bay Street. Three vehicles had windows smashed and one had the tires slashed.

Theft Reports
• Copper wire was reported stolen from a business on Industrial Park Crescent.

• Two Vehicles were broken into, one on East Street and one on Queen Street East in which a purse left inside was reported stolen.
