The following three arrested persons are to appear in bail court this morning: 1) A 39 year-old male was arrested on the 9th of July at 6:45 pm at his residence as a result of a domestic dispute and charged with one count of assault.
The following three arrested persons are to appear in bail court this morning:

1) A 39 year-old male was arrested on the 9th of July at 6:45 pm at his residence as a result of a domestic dispute and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that the accused got into a verbal argument with his common law spouse last evening at their residence and the accused assaulted her by slapping her in the head.

2) A 17 year-old male was arrested just after 2 pm yesterday on Pim Street as a result of a family dispute and charged with one count of mischief and three counts of assault. It is alleged that on the 9th of July around noon, the accused, who was in an agitated state at his residence, was refused entry by a parent. The accused threw a large child’s riding truck at the front picture window of the residence, completely smashing it. The glass shattered into the living room area of the residence striking three family members. Two of the victims received non-life threatening injuries. The accused left the residence and was located later by police on Pim Street and was arrested.

3) 22 year-old Christopher Collins of 647 Walls Road was arrested on the 9th of July just before 10 am at the court house and charged with one count of breach of a release order. It is alleged that the accused was on a recognizance order and on conditions to report to the John Howard Society and failed to do so.

Female Arrested for Domestic Related Incident

A 21 year-old female was arrested at 5:54 pm on Queen Street East and charged with one count of assault as a result of a domestic dispute. It is alleged that on the 9th of July just before 5 pm the accused attended at her ex-boyfriend’s residence, got into a verbal argument with him and struck him in the face. She is to appear in court on the 11th of August.

Property Crimes:

Break and Enter Reports

1) There was a break and enter reported to the Pine Street Armoury that occurred sometime between 10 pm on the 8th of July and 6:15 am on the 9th of July. Several vehicles were entered and vehicle windows smashed. Numerous fire extinguishers were emptied. It is not known at this time if anything was taken.

2) An apartment was entered in the 600 Block of Bay Street and an Olympus 35 mm camera was reported stolen.

Mischief Reports

1) A rear window of a vehicle that was parked on Mcgregor Avenue was smashed sometime yesterday.
2) Three spotlights were damaged sometime yesterday at the Northern Credit Union on McNabb Street.
3) A door of a residence on Second Line West was damaged as a result of being kicked.
4) A dryer at an apartment complex on Carufel was damaged.

Theft Reports

Vehicles were entered in the 300 block of Macdonald Avenue, in the 100 block of Wellington Street East and the Robin Street. Change, vehicle documents, change and a purse were reported stolen.

Three solar lights were stolen from a residence on Willow Avenue sometime overnight on the 8-9th of July.

Bikes were reported stolen from residences on Westwood Crescent, Andrew Street and Letcher Street.
