Female Arrested on Outstanding Warrant for Robbery Officers with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested 23 year-old Loretta Waboose of 125 Cambridge Place yesterday afternoon on an outstanding warrant and charged her with one count of robbery.
Female Arrested on Outstanding Warrant for Robbery
Officers with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested 23 year-old Loretta Waboose of 125 Cambridge Place yesterday afternoon on an outstanding warrant and charged her with one count of robbery. It is alleged that she was wanted for an incident that took place on the 24th of May 2010 when she attended at the residence of a female known to her, assaulted her and stole her prescription medication.

When being booked in at the station it is alleged that the accused was resistant with the officers, kicked one of them and then damaged a phone in the booking-in area. As a result, the accused was further charged with one count of assault peace officer and one count of mischief. The accused will be appearing in bail court this morning.

Male Arrested for Mischief
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 22 year-old Curtis St.Pierre of 17 Fairview Avenue at 2:05 am this morning on Trunk Road and charged him with two counts of mischief and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that at approximately 1:30 am this morning, the accused kicked and smashed out the glass on two entrance doors at the Heritage Place apartment complex on Macdonald Avenue.

It is further alleged that shortly afterwards, the accused attended at 627 Macdonald Avenue, another apartment complex, and smashed the glass out of the security doors. The accused was on probation at the time of the incidents with conditions that he keep the peace and be good. He is to appear in bail court his morning.

Domestic Related Arrest
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 37 year-old male yesterday afternoon and charged him with three counts of breach of a release document. It is alleged that on the 5th of January at approximately 3:40 pm the accused attended at the residence of a female and at the time he breached a recognizance order that had conditions that he remain away from her, not to communicate with her and not to attend at her place of residence.
