Male to appear in bail court:
Yesterday morning members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 40-year-old male for assault. It is alleged that the accused assaulted his girlfriend. Victim did not require medical attention for her injuries. The accused is charged with one count of assault.
Male arrested for mischief and threatening:
Yesterday evening members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 23-year-old male for mischief and threatening. It is alleged that yesterday afternoon, the accused attended at the residence of a person known to him and at that time threatened the tenant. It is further alleged that the accused returned a short time later and damaged a door and windows at the residence. Tim Robinson, age 23 of 427 Wellington St. E. Apt. # 3 is charged with one count of threatening and one count of mischief. Mr. Robinson is to appear in court on February 6th at 9:00 am.
Male arrested for assault causing bodily harm:
Last night members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 21-year-old male for assault causing bodily harm. It is alleged that on December 27th 2011 the accused punched a male, known to him, in the face and thereby fractured the victims jaw. The victim was taken to the Sault Area Hospital for treatment. Dustin Graham, age 21, of 47 Princess Cres Apt. # 10 is charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm.
Mr. Graham is to appear in court on February 6th at 9:00 am.
Break and enter:
City police were called to three break and enters yesterday. Break –ins were reported to the following locations:
- The 200 block of Selby Rd – electronics were reported stolen.
- The 400 block of Charles St. – electronics were reported stolen.
- The 100 block of Summit Ave. Yesterday between 1:15 pm and 4:00 pm unknown person(s) entered the residence and stolen several cameras, liquor, electronics and computer equipment.
Mischief:
A window at an apartment in the 1oo block of Willoughby St. was broken
Theft:
A laptop computer was stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Kingsford Rd.
