Break Ins: A residence in the 100 block of Eastern Ave. was broken into sometime last night. A side door was kicked in and 2 laptops and a bottle of whiskey were stolen.

Break Ins:

A residence in the 100 block of Eastern Ave. was broken into sometime last night.  A side door was kicked in and 2 laptops and a bottle of whiskey were stolen.

A residence in the 1300 block of Queen Street East was also broken into sometime in the last 24 hours. A window was smashed and a large quantity of jewelry and prescription medication was stolen.

Arrests:

32 year old Lionel Taylor of 52 Railroad Ave. was arrested on outstanding warrant charges by City Police Officers on the 3rd of January. The 2 charges were regarding conditions Mr. Taylor was on as a result of a probation order. He will appear in Bail Court on January 4th.

Arrests:

A 31-year old male turned himself in yesterday afternoon on an outstanding warrant for two counts of breach of probation related to domestic matters.  It is alleged the accused communicated with a female he was not allowed to communicate with and also failed to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.   He will appear in bail court in this morning.

A 26 year old male will appear in bail court this morning. It is alleged that the accused attended at his girlfriend’s residence yesterday afternoon and got into an argument with her.  It is alleged he assaulted her and threatened to harm her.  The accused has been charged with one three counts of assault, one count of threaten death or bodily harm, and one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house.  The male turned himself into City Police last evening and will appear in bail court this morning.  

Property Crimes:

A residence in the 700 block of Wellington Street West was entered yesterday afternoon. It does not appear that anything was taken.

A residence in the 100 block of Adelaide Street was broken into sometime yesterday morning.  Money and alcohol were taken.
