Domestic Related Arrest: A 29 year-old male was arrested on the 2nd of December at 7:10 pm at his residence and charged with one count of assault.
Domestic Related Arrest:

A 29 year-old male was arrested on the 2nd of December at 7:10 pm at his residence and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 2nd of December at approximately 7:05 pm the accused got into a verbal argument with his common law partner at their residence and assaulted her. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Motor Vehicle Collision:

At 10:08 am yesterday morning City Police responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a car that occurred at the intersection of Wellington Street East at Church Street. The 82 year-old male driver of the car was transported to hospital by ambulance for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. It is alleged that the driver of the GMC Pickup that was travelling eastbound on Wellington Street East, failed to stop for the red light at Church Street and a collision with the Chevrolet car that had been travelling northbound on Church Street resulted. The driver of the GMC Pickup, 61 year-old Alexandre Bernard of 622 3E Avenue in Quebec, was charged with one count of fail to stop for red light under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario. Both vehicles were heavily damaged.

A residence on Wellington Street East was entered. It is not known at this time if anything was taken.

Mischief Reports:

A vehicle parked on Grandmont Crescent had a front tire slashed sometime overnight on the 1st of December.
