Two persons to appear in bail court
Last night members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 37-year-old male for break and enter and breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused attended at the residence of his ex-girlfriend and broke into her home. It is further alleged that the accused breach conditions of his probation by harassing his ex-girlfriend and by not keeping the peace. The accused is charged with one count of break and enter and two counts of breach of probation.

Early this morning members of the O.P.P. Elliott Lake detachment arrested a 24-year-old male on a warrant held by the Sault Ste Marie Police Service. It is alleged that on October 3rd, 2006 the accused failed to appear in court on a surety to keep the peace. The accused is charged with one count of failing to appear in court.

Male arrested on a warrant for theft
Yesterday morning at approximately 10:40 am members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 39-year-old male on a warrant. It is alleged that on December 10th 2010 the accused attended at the L.C.B.O. Store in the Station Mall and stole two bottles of vodka valued at $ 71.50. The accused, who is known to the store staff, was not apprehended at that time as he fled the store. Clinton Perrault, age 39, of 319 Albert St. E. is charged with one count of theft under $ 5,000 and is to appear in court on Jan 24th at 9:00 am.

Break and enter
A storage shed was entered in the 700 block of Wellington St. W. – unknown what was taken.

An attempted break and entered occurred this morning at 4:30 am at a residence in the 100 block of Muriel Dr. A dark blue Impala was seen leaving the area.

Mischief
A building in the 1000 block of Trunk Rd was damaged.

A door mat was set on fire at the Parkland Baptist Church, on Melville Rd.
