Three Domestic Related Arrests
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested two females at 11:10 pm last night after responding to a domestic dispute at their residence. It is alleged that the two got into a verbal argument and assaulted each other. One of the females also threatened to kill the other during the dispute. Both females received non-life threatening injuries during the incident. As a result a 30 year-old female has been charged with one count of assault and one count of threaten death or bodily harm and a 28 year-old female was charged with one count of assault. Both are appearing bail court this morning.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 19 year-old male at 1:45 am this morning at his residence and charged him with one count of assault. It is alleged that between the 14th and the 16th of December the accused assaulted his common-law girlfriend at their residence a number of times. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Shoplifting Arrests
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 41 year-old Corry Sue Derasp of #2-603 Queen Street West at Zellers in the Station Mall at 2:43 pm yesterday and charge her with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of breach of a conditional sentence order. It is alleged that the accused attended at the store yesterday afternoon and stole some perfume and nail polish. At the time of the incident the accused was on a conditional sentence order with conditions to remain in her residence. She is to appear in bail court this morning.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 20 year-old Shawn Carroll of 46 Stevens Street (rear) at the Metro Store on Churchill Avenue at 7:42 pm last night and charged him with one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that he attended at the store last night and stole several items. He was apprehended by store security and held for police. He is to attend in court on the 24th of January 2011.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 48 year-old Branko Misevic of 107 Westridge Road at 5:35 pm yesterday at the Metro Store on Northern Avenue and charged him with one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that the accused attended at the store last night and stole a brick of Swiss cheese. He is was apprehended by store security, held for police and is to appear in court on the 24th of January 2011.

Break and Enter Report A
break and enter was reported to a residence on Wellington Street East last night. There was nothing reported stolen.
