One Person For Bail Court A 20-year-old female was arrested on the 26th of August 2010 at 3:40 a.m. subsequent to a domestic incident. It is alleged that the accused attended at her ex-boyfriend’s residence where she forced entry.

A 20-year-old female was arrested on the 26th of August 2010 at 3:40 a.m. subsequent to a domestic incident. It is alleged that the accused attended at her ex-boyfriend’s residence where she forced entry. There in the accused punched a 41-year-old female in the face and threatened to kill her as well as her ex-boyfriend. Police attended and apprehended the accused but she was noncompliant and struggled with them. The accused has been charged with break and enter, assault, threatening, and resist Peace Officer.

Fraud
28-year-old Jeff John Odber of 1304 Third Line West was arrested on the 25th of August 2010 at 9:17 p.m. at his residence following an incident that occurred at the Walmart Store 446 Great Northern Road on the 29th of July 2010. On that day it is alleged that the accused had purchased a new Nintendo D.S. gaming system and then returned an old one that he had placed in the new box for a $225.00 refund. He has been charged with one count of fraud and was released with a court date of the 27th of September 2010.

Warrant
40-year-old Winston Delano Causley of 370 Wellington Street East was arrested on the 26th of August 2010 at 2:05 a.m. on Hamilton at Wymess Street. A check by patrol officers revealed an outstanding warrant for several breaches. Upon arrest the accused was found to have in his possession a substance believed to be marijuana. The accused was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance and released with a court date of the 27th of September 2010.

Break and Enters
A break and enter was reported to a residence in the 800 block of peoples road where a computer tower and monitor were taken.
A break and enter was reported to a residence on Grosvenor Avenue. Nothing appears to have been taken.

Theft From Vehicles
Vehicles were reported entered in the 300 block of John Street, the 3900 block of Queen Street East, the 100 and 700 block of Bay Street, and on Lorna Drive. The vehicle on Lorna Drive had its window smashed and a purse was stolen. Items reported stolen from the other vehicles include weedwackers, change and cigarettes.

A vehicle in the 500 block of Morrison Avenue was “keyed”.

Motor Vehicle Collisions Resulting in Charges
34-year-old Cynthia Ledue of Manitoba was issued a summons under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario following an accident that she was involved in on the 25th of August 2010 at 10:17 p.m. on Bay Street at Tancred Street. At that time it is alleged that the accused was driving her car east on Bay Street and cut across the inside lane in an effort to turn left onto Tancred Street. She had cut across the path of a truck that had been east bound in the curb lane and her vehicle was subsequently struck. The accused was charged with an improper left turn. The accused and the 40-year-old driver of the pick up truck were uninjured in the collision while both vehicles sustained minor damage.

38-year-old Mark Jordan of 710 Second Line West was issued a summons under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario following a single motor vehicle accident that he was involved in on the 24th of August 2010 at 1:53 p.m. on Wallace Terrace at Prentice Avenue. At that time it is alleged that the accused was driving his van east on Wallace Terrace and then veered off the roadway across the west bound lanes and struck a utility pole on the southeast corner at Prentice Avenue. He was subsequently charged with failing to drive in marked lane. Mr. Jordan was uninjured as a result of the collision while his vehicle sustained severe damage. The utility pole sustained some damage and the Public Utilities Commission was notified as a result.
