Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 25-year-old male on several warrants. It is alleged that between February 15th and April 27th the accused breached conditions of his recognizance release order by not being in the company of his surety. Michael Bumbacco, age 25, of no fixed address is charged with four counts of breach of a recognizance.

Yesterday morning members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 20-year-old male for breach of a recognizance. It is alleged that on April 27th the accused breached conditions of his recognizance release order by molesting and harassing, communicating with and attending at the residence of his ex-girlfriend. It is also alleged that the accused failed to reside with his surety. The accused is charged with four counts of breach of a recognizance.

Yesterday morning members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 20-year-old male on warrants. It is alleged that the accused failed to appear for court on April 18th. The accused was originally arrested on November 29th 2010 for theft under $ 5,000. Matthew Hart, age 20, of 29 Clearview Dr. Apt # 2 is charged with one count of failing to appear for court and one count of theft under $5,000.

Male arrested for theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime
Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 19-year-old male for theft and possession of stolen property. It is alleged that the accused attended at the Wal-Mart Store at 446 Great Northern Rd. and stole clothing valued at $26.98. The accused was arrested by store security and turned over to the city police. It is further alleged that upon his arrest officers found property on the accused that was stolen from the Bootlegger and West 49 Stores in the Station Mall.
Stephen Frimpong, age 19, of 950 Pine St. is charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime. Mr. Frimpong is to appear in court on May 30th at 9:00 am.

Break and enter
A residence in the 100 block of Hudson St. was broken into yesterday. A large television was stolen.

Residences in the 300 and 600 blocks of Farwell Terr. were broken into. Cash and electronics were stolen.

Theft
Vehicles were entered in the 100 block of Laura St and the 900 block of Trunk Rd. Personal papers and tools were stolen.

A locker was entered at the Y.M.C.A. at 235 McNabb St. A digital camera was stolen.
