The following persons turned themselves in at the city police station regarding domestic related incidents: 1) A 26 year-old male was arrested yesterday just before 6 pm at the city police station and charged with one count of assault.
The following persons turned themselves in at the city police station regarding domestic related incidents:

1) A 26 year-old male was arrested yesterday just before 6 pm at the city police station and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 19th of April the accused assaulted his common law wife by pushing her several times. The victim received injuries that did not require medical attention. The accused will be appearing in bail court this morning.

2) A 21 year-old female was arrested yesterday at 11:30 pm at the city police station and charged with one count of criminal harassment and one count of threaten death or bodily harm. It is alleged that on the 20th of April the accused attended the workplace of her ex-boyfriend and threatened him. She will be appearing in bail court this morning.

3) A 42 year-old female was arrested on an outstanding warrant yesterday just before 5 pm at the city police station and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 9th of April 2006 the accused assaulted her boyfriend at their downtown residence by throwing a coffee cup at him. She is to appear in court on the 29th of May.

Car Accident

Yesterday morning just before 11 am officers from Traffic Services attended at Queen Street East and Spring Street for a motor vehicle collision involving an OPP cruiser. An 89 year-old male, Ralph Forfar of 524 McNabb Street was charged with one count of fail to stop for red light. It is alleged that the accused was operating a silver car westbound on Queen Street East when he failed to stop for the red light at Spring Street and collided into the OPP cruiser that was southbound on Spring Street. There were no injuries reported and there was light damage to both vehicles.

Two reports of break and enters reported from yesterday:

1) A residence in the 1200 block of Third Line West was entered between 11 am an 3:30 pm. Money and a laptop were stolen.

2) An attempt break and enter to a residence on Wardell Road occurred between 10 am and 5 pm. No entry was gained.
