Domestic Incident

A 24 year old male will appear in bail court this morning after being called to investigate a domestic related assault. It is alleged that the accused attended at the residence of the victim and smashed her 42” flat screen TV and her computer and monitor. He then assaulted her by punching her in the head several times. This incident occurred on the 15 April 2009 and he was arrested on this date. The accused was also charged with threatening and criminal harassment from an incident on the 13 April 2009 involving the same victim, his ex-girlfriend.

Mischief & Unlawfully in a House

A 32 year old male will appear in bail court today charged with mischief and being unlawfully in a dwelling house. It is alleged that on the 15 April 2009 the accused became involved in a verbal confrontation with his former girl friend at which time he threw a drink at her. The victim then left and went home where the accused then attended. The accused was not allowed in the residence at which time he broke the window in the door and then entered the apartment. Police were called and the accused was arrested later at his residence.

Theft & Attempted Robbery

30 year old Jacquilynne Dorene Gray of 911 Queen St. East was arrested on the 15 April 2009 and charged with theft under and attempted robbery. It is alleged the accused attended at a convenience store located at 602 Queen St. west on the 11 April 2009 and picked up several items in the store then walked to the cashier with one hand in her pocket and demanded that she turn over the contents of the register. The cashier hit the panic alarm and the accused fled on foot. The accused will appear in court on the 11 May 2009.

Break and Enters

Police are investigating a break in to a residence on McMeeken St. Person(s) unknown entered the residence and stole a purse.

A garage located on Ascot Ave. was entered sometime yesterday and two boat motors were taken. A car parked in the garage also had it window smashed.

Thefts from vehicles

Two vehicles on Williams St. and one on Bowker St. were entered overnight and loose change, Country Style coffee card and a flash light were items reported taken.

Mischief

A vehicle parked in the 600 block of Queen St. West had graffiti spray painted all over it.

A vehicle parked on Ferguson Ave. had the windshield smashed by a beer bottle.
