Theft, Assault & Breach 34 year old Louise Lynn Desmoulin of no fixed address and 26 year old Christine Lynn Wesley of 16 Hughes Street were arrested yesterday just after 8 pm.

34 year old Louise Lynn Desmoulin of no fixed address and 26 year old Christine Lynn Wesley of 16 Hughes Street were arrested yesterday just after 8 pm. It is believed that sometime around 8pm last night the two females attended at Sears in the Station Mall and stole a quantity of clothing. They were observed by store security and apprehended just outside of the store. Wesley after being arrested ran away from security but was apprehended a second time after a short chase. Desmoulin attempted to flee and assaulted the security officer but was also apprehended again after a short foot chase. City Police attended the scene and took the females into custody.
Louise Lynn Desmoulin who was on conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour has been charged with 1 count of theft under $5000, 1 count of assault and 1 count of breach of release conditions. She will be appearing in court on the 12th of May.
Christine Lynn Wesley has been charged with 1 count of theft under $5000 and 1 count of escape custody. She will be attending bail court this morning.

Assaulting Police

A 16 year old female has been charged with 2 counts of assaulting police. Yesterday morning just after 6am, Police responded to a female screaming hysterically on Wellington Street East. When officers approached the female to calm her down she punched one officer and spat on the other. When officers were placing her into the cruiser she kicked one of the officers. She is scheduled to attend court on the 15th of May.

Theft & Possession of Stolen Property

47 year old Crystal Joy Charlesbois-Miller of 7 Chicora Cres has been charged with 1 count of Theft under $5000 and 1 count of possession of stolen property. It is alleged that on the 14th of January 2008, the accused had a Samsung Plasma High Definition T.V. valued at $2220 delivered to 375 Pine Street also known as the Sault Armory. The accused then transported the T.V to her residence at 7 Chicora Cres, and billed the T.V. to the Department of National Defense. She was charged yesterday just after 10am at her residence. She is scheduled for court on May 12th.

Mischief

23 year old Kristi Anne Lacko of 63 Chippewa Street has been charged with 1 count of Mischief under $5000. It is believed that on the 7th of April the accused was at the No Frills Grocery Store on Second Line where she smashed and threw away the cell phone of a female known to her. The accused attended at the station yesterday just after 2pm and was charged. She is scheduled to appear court on the 26th of May.

Theft from Sears

34 year old Brock Jean Thivierge of 23 Terry Fox Place Apt #317 has been charged with 1 count of theft under $5000. It is alleged that on the 9th of April just before 3pm the accused attended at Sears in the Station Mall and took some clothing and then exited the store without making any attempt to pay for the items. The accused was apprehended by security officers and held for Police. He is expected to attend court on the 12th of May.

Domestic Incident

A 19 year old male has been charged in a domestic related incident. It is alleged that the accused while at the victim’s residence threw glass at her and caused scratching to the skin. Police were called and the accused was arrested. A check of the accused showed he was to notify the courts of any change of address, which had not been done. The accused was charged with 1 count of assault with a weapon and 1 count of breaching his release document. He will be attending bail court today.

Break & Enter

A break and enter occurred in the 100 block of Forest Avenue yesterday between 1pm and 4pm. An undisclosed amount of money was taken.
