Three face theft charges

About $500 worth of store merchandise was stolen in three separate incidents

On Mar. 2, 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 23-year-old Raven Pine of Garden River for theft.

It is alleged that the accused attended a business in the 200 block of McNabb Street where he selected just over $240 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying. The accused was apprehended by store security and held for police.

He has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and he will appear in court on Apr. 9, 2018.

On Mar. 4, 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 30-year-old Jessica Chiblow of Charles Street for theft.

It is alleged that the accused attended a store in the 200 block of McNabb Street where she selected just under $90 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying. She was apprehended by store security and held for police.

She has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and she will appear in court on Apr. 9, 2018.

On Mar. 4, 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 34-year-old William Macdonald of Wallace Terrace for theft.

It is alleged that on Feb. 8, 2018 the accused attended a business in the 400 block of Great Northern Road where he selected just under $170 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying.

Officers located the accused on Mar. 4 and he was taken into custody. It was found that the accused was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for failure to attend court. 

He was charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of failure to attend court. He was held for bail court.
