Three charged in theft investigation

On April 6, 2020, officers with Patrol Services arrested 42-year-old Jeremy Bjornaa, 32-year-old Joey Kossiba and 37-year-old Shawn Reedy for theft.

On April 6, 2020 at 10:07 a.m., police responded to a call of three males taking items out of the back of a trailer in the 200-block of Wilson Street and loading them into a wheelbarrow. When police arrived, they witnessed the three accused drop the items and wheelbarrow and flee the area.

The three accused were located shortly afterwards and arrested. The investigation revealed entry to the trailer was gained by damaging the lock. Estimated damage to the trailer is $300. Once inside it is s alleged the accused took personal protective equipment, tools and a wheelbarrow, worth approximately $1,000.

Mr. Bjornaa is charged with theft under $5,000, mischief under $5,000 and breach of probation.

Mr. Kossiba is charged with possession of stolen property and mischief under $5,000.

Mr. Reedy is charged with theft under $5,000, mischief under $5,000 and breach of probation.

The three accused are scheduled to appear in court on June 15, 2020.
