SAULT STE MARIE POLICE SERVICE

On April 12, 2018 offices with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 15-year-old male from Sault Ste. Marie for domestic violence and assault with a weapon.
It is alleged that at noon on April 12, the accused engaged in an argument with his girlfriend. The accused struck the victim in her face and then left the area.
A short time later, the accused engaged in an argument with a male that was known to him.
The argument escalated and the accused assaulted the male by stabbing him in the back with a knife. The victim received a non-life threatening injury as a result of the assault.
Police located the accused a short time later and he was taken into custody. He has been charged with one count of assault, one count of forcible confinement and one count of assault with a weapon. He was held for bail court.
