Suspect arrested at Robin Street break and enter scene

Police say that a stove removed from the residence was later found in a nearby parking lot

One person has been charged after being found by responding officers at the scene of a residential break and enter on Robin Street early this morning.

"During the investigation, officers discovered the accused does not live at the residence, and a stove had been removed," says a news release issued by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service. "The stove was located in a nearby parking lot."

As a result, 48-year-old Liza Scobie is scheduled to appear in court on May 8 and stands charged with:
    •    Breaking and entering with intent
    •    Theft under $5,000
