At approximately 04:00 officers attended the 600 block of Farewell Terrace for a person in a rear shed.  22 year old Geordan WALLS of 1001 Second Line West has been charged with trespass by night and intoxicated in a public place will appear in court on 29 October 2012.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. officers responded to a report of a missing developmentally disabled male who had failed to return home from fishing at the locks and had been gone since noon. A search was undertaken and the man was located in good health at 10:30 p.m.

A robbery was reported by a young victim who indicates he was jumped by a group of youths in Lennox Park off Second Line West. The victim was assaulted by a large group of youths, one or two who were female (one with blonde hair), the others described as 9 – 10 male youths in dark clothing.  Stolen was a red bag containing a black Toshiba laptop.  They broke a TV and Xbox carried by the victim and fled on foot on Lennox Avenue towards the Mac’s Mart on Wellington St. West at Henrietta St.   One of the suspects left a gray and black flat brimmed ball hat behind with the words “Brass Knuckle Therapy” stitched on the front.  Anyone having information on the owner of such a hat is asked to call Constable M. Rossetto at 705 - 949-6300.

Officers responded to ten loud noise complaints overnight. Under the City of Sault Ste. Marie By-Law 4100, persons may be charged for creating, causing or permitting any noise likely to disturb the inhabitants.

20 Year old Dieter Prairie Chicken, of 157 Willow Avenue was arrested at approximately 10:00 p.m. Officers attended Wellington Street East and Tancred St. for a male and female fighting. Both parties had been drinking. Prairie Chicken has been charged with breaching an undertaking with conditions not to consume alcohol and breach of probation. He will appear in court on 29 October 2012.

Tyler Seaton, age 25 of no fixed address turned himself in on warrants for theft and breach of probation.  It is alleged that on 14 Sept 2012 he stole a laptop while in a residence of a person known to him.  At the time he was also on probation with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.  He will appear in WASH (Weekend and Statutory Holiday Court) in the morning.
