TWO WOMEN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT
City police report a relatively quiet Saturday night in the Sault. Two women were arrested for assault in a west end hotel bar last night.
Jennifer Adams, age 20 of 329 1st Avenue and 21-year-old Chantelle Bonenfant of 625 Korah Road, were arrested following a complaint that they had assaulted two other women and a man.
Adams has been charged with one count of mischief and three counts of assault while Bonenfant has been charged with two counts of assault. They will appear in court on October 20.
MAN CHARGED WITH BREACHES
Denis Theriault, age 49 of no fixed address, was picked up by police last night and charged with three counts of breach of recognizance and one count of breach of probation. He is being held in custody pending a bail court appearance tomorrow.
