City police have had a very quiet weekend so far with no arrests or other incidents to report.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is investigating another sexual assault. The incident happened in the early morning hours of October 6th in the Goulais Avenue and Third Line area of the city. Two females were walking on Goulais Avenue at 12:20am when they were approached from behind by a lone male who assaulted one of them. It was very similar to another sexual assault that occurred on September 26th near the golf course on Queen Street.

The attacker in both incidents is described as being 17 - 25 years of age, five feet 4 inches, to five feet 8 inches in height with a dark or tanned complexion. The attacker wore dark clothing with a hood.
