On the 15 July 2012 City police received a call regarding a home invasion in the 400 block of Northland Rd. Checking the area, City police pulled over a vehicle with two male occupants. Investigation revealed the males to be in possession of prohibited weapons (being a flick knife and pepper spray). Charged with two counts each of possession of a prohibited weapon are Jonah Boyer (age 25) and Jason McKinnon (age 26). Upon arrest Jason McKinnon was found with a small amount of hash, cocaine and morphine in his pockets. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance x 3. Both will be appearing in bail court on Monday morning.

On the 15 July 2012 in the early morning hours, a sharp eyed citizen noticed a male coming out of a broken window at the Subway Shop on Bay St. The citizen notified police and followed the suspect until police arrived. After a short foot pursuit the male was apprehended by city police. Charged with break and enter, possession of break in tools and breach of a release order is Ronald Marini (age 49) of 406 Korah Rd. He will appear in bail court on Monday morning. Without releasing the identity of the witness at this time, City police would like to thank the citizen who got involved and assisted them.

On the 15 July 2012 at 7:00 am City police were called to a single vehicle accident on Base Line. There they located a vehicle approximately 100 feet into the bush area. The vehicle had been driven off the road, struck a large rock and skipped through a ditch coming to rest in the trees. A male was found a short distance away from the crash. He was found to have been consuming alcohol and was arrested for impaired driving and consuming over the legal limit. Charged is Stano Pucci (age 39) of 150 Turner Ave. He will be appearing in court on 20 August 2012.

On the 14th of July 2 women entered the Dollarama at 275 Second Line West. It is alleged that the 2 women, 26 year old Tiffany Buonomo and 19 year old Darlene Frolich, both of 48 Ferguson Avenue loaded their purses with various items from the store. The total amount of merchandise taken was $117.58. The woman will appear in court on August 13th at 9:00 a.m.

On the 14th of July a 44 year old male was arrested regarding a Domestic incident. It is alleged the male threatened to cause death to a female complainant and her family. The male will appear before a WASH Court Justice Sunday morning.

49 year old Ronald Marini was arrested in the early morning hours in the downtown area of the city. The male was observed breaking into a local business and due to the quick actions of an eyewitness City Police Officers were able to apprehend Mr. Marini a short distance away. He will appear before a WASH Court Justice in the morning.
