A garage and vehicle were left with significant damage following a fire that broke out shortly before midnight on Saturday.
Fire Crews attended the scene in the 100 block of St. Andrews Terrace to find "visible smoke and flames from the detached garage structure," says a news release issued by Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services. "Fire crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire."
Investigation determined that the fire started in a vehicle parked in the garage.
No injuries were reported.
The garage is now boarded up, with visible signs of smoke damage on the exterior siding.
