A Sault Ste. Marie woman is being accused of head butting and spitting on police officers.

Sault Police say they responded to a disturbance call in the 600 block of MacDonald Ave. at 5:35 p.m. yesterday.

Police say the accused was aggressive toward officers upon arrival.

While being arrested for breach of peace and escorted to a cruiser, SSMPS says the accused head butted two officers and spit on another.

Police also report that she continued to be aggressive on route to the police services building, causing damage to the back of the cruiser.

As a result, Jayden Michano, 20, has been charged with three counts of assaulting a peace officer, breach of the peace and mischief under $5,000.

She is scheduled to appear in court on June 9, 2021.
