Sault man accused of using a stolen credit card four times

Police say he purchased a total of $268.90 worth of items with the card

On June 2, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 33-year-old Shawn Blais for using a stolen credit card.

It is alleged on March 12, 2020 the accused stole and used a bank card not belonging to him four times to make a total of $268.90 worth of purchases at businesses in the 200 block of Bay Street.

He was located on June 2, 2020 and arrested. He is charged with four counts of using a stolen credit card, theft of a credit card and possession of property obtained by crime.

He is scheduled to appear in court on June 29, 2020.
