Sault Police were called today to the Pinder Trail at Hiawatha for a sighting of a mother bear and two cubs.
The animals were not located, but are believed to still be in the area, says a news release issued tonight by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.
"No injuries were reported of any kind," the release states. "Please be aware of the bear and cubs if attending in the Hiawatha area."
