BREAK & ENTER
There was a break and enter at Beaver Gas on Korah Road at 2:00 a.m. today. Three young offenders fled the scene with cigarettes and magazines just as police arrived. Officers contained the area and brought in the canine unit.

Staff Sgt. Steve Train said the three were apprehended quickly and are in custody this morning.

DISTURBANCE AT STATION MALL
Yesterday evening police received a call about a fight near the cinema involving a security guard. Police arrived and arrested a young offender who had assaulted the security guard with a garbage can.

Police say the 15-year-old male was under the influence of alcohol. He has been charged with threatening to kill one of the police officers and with causing a disturbance. He was still in custody this morning.
