It was a fairly quiet night in the city last night.
CHARGED WITH ASSAULT
Police have one man in custody this morning following a disturbance at a local night spot. Keith Tarchuk, age 33 of 768 Shafer Avenue is charged with assault.
The dispute started between a male and a female inside the bar at closing time and spilled out onto the street. Tarchuk is charged with assaulting the female and her boyfriend. He will appear in court on December 22.
IMPAIRED
A 21-year-old Heyden resident, Ian Naogizic, was stopped by police on the 5th line early this morning. He has been charged with impaired driving.
