Assault and Marajuana possession
A 19-year old was arrested and charged with assault and possession of marijuana as a result of a domestic incident early this afternoon.
The accused was released on a promise to appear and officer in charge undertaking to a court date of 20 Jun 2012.
Terri Printess charged with drunk driving
Terri Printess, 42, of 706 Shafer Av was charged with care and control of a motor vehicle while over the legal limit after being found by police sitting outside her van on Goulais Avenue.
The accused was given a roadside screening device then arrested for being over the legal limit.
The accused was released on promise to appear to a court date of 18 Jun 2012.
Slew of charges for Rosemary Pheasant and Terrence Saunders
Rosemary Pheasant, 27, of 28 Wellington Street East was arrested for theft of an iPod docking station from Zeller’s Station Mall.
She was also charged with a number of probation breaches including not to attend at Station Mall and not to be in communication with co-accused 31 year old Terrance Saunders of no fixed address.
The two were seen walking together by police on London Street at approximately 2000 hours.
Investigation revealed that the two were wanted for a theft from Zellers and were approached by police.
Police became involved in a short foot chase with Saunders that resulted in additional charges of Assault Police and resist arrest after the accused Saunders punched, kicked and spat at police.
Saunders also had breaches of probation charges.
Both accused were held for appearance in WASH (Weekend And Statutory Holiday) court on the 19 May 2012.
