City Police attended this morning to seven reports of mischief to vehicles from overnight. All the incidents were in the Cory Ave. and Manitou Drive areas and involved vehicles being spray painted. No charges have been laid at this time.

50 year old Alexander Dettorre of 160 Central St. was arrested by City Police this afternoon for Mischief over $5000.00. It is alleged Mr.Dettorre damaged a deck by driving his vehicle into it and then damaged a vehicle that was parked in the driveway and then threw a bike at the garage door causing damage to the door. These events took place on January 3rd at a west end residence. Mr.Dettorre is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on February 11th.

City Police officers attended to 3 Break and Enters over the past 12 hours. Two occurred sometime overnight last night and one occurred today. A lock was broken off of a shed in the 100 block of Ruth St. Nothing was taken. A table saw was stolen from a residence in the 700 block of Wellington St. East after thieves broke locks off of a basement door to gain entry. Paint was poured over the floors and rugs of a vacant apartment under renovations on Queen St. East near Gore St. after entry was gained there as well.

An 18 year old female was arrested as a result of a domestic incident. 
 
It is alleged that on the 12th of January she met her boyfriend outside a bar he was leaving and confronted him about being out drinking while she was looking after their four-week old baby. 
 
She became angered by his response and punched him in the face. 
 
The matter is currently under investigation.
