City Police report that four people were picked up overnight for being intoxicated in a public place and are sleeping it off in the cells. Other than that, it was a quiet twenty-four hours.

CHILD INVITED INTO STRANGER'S CAR
Police report that a male person operating a small compact dark blue or green car with tinted windows approached a 10-year-old walking on Denwood Drive and asked him to get into his car. The youngster did not and advised his school. There is no description available of the lone male occupant of the car. Police ask you to call them if you have seen a vehicle fitting the above description. The incident occurred Feb. 14 between noon and 1:00 p.m. Police have increased patrols in the area.
