On the 1Dec12 police attended an address on Albion St. in regards to a domestic dispute.

On the 1Dec12 police attended an address on Albion St. in regards to a domestic dispute. Officers found a 24 year old male to be breaching numerous conditions of his probation order by consuming alcohol, residing with a female he had previously assaulted, attending at the residence of the same female during a time not specified and harassing her by failing to leave residence and urinating on the floor. He will be in WASH (Weekend and Statutory Holiday) court Sunday morning.

On November the 5th, 2012 James Lorimer, age 31 of Sault Ste. Marie failed to re-attend court on Breach of Probation charges.  An arrest warrant was issued by the Court for his arrest.  On the November 30, 2012 at approximately 4:55 pm City Police Officers arrested Lorimer on the strength of this warrant. Lorimer is now scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 7th, 2013 to answer to this charge.

On the 22nd day of November 2012 Cody Cuthbertson, age 26 of Sault Ste. Marie was observed to have in his possession break and enter tools. Subsequently on November 30th, 2012 at 5:05 pm Police Officers located Cuthbertson in the downtown core and arrested and charged him with Possession of Break In Instruments.  He is to appear in court on Jan. 7th, 2013.

On November 30th, 2012 shortly after 9:00 pm Police Officers were called to a residence in the 300 block of Douglas Ave. to investigate a break and enter complaint. Officers learned that thieves stole liquor, coins and jewelry.

On November 30th, 2012 shortly before midnight United States Customs and Border Protection Officers turned back a Canadian male who was not allowed entrance in their country. Police Officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service attended the Canadian Border Services Agency office and learned the male was wanted on outstanding arrest warrants held by the Greater Sudbury Police Service. Officers arrested Eugene Levert, age 63 of Sudbury on warrants for Failing to attend Court and Breach of Recognizance.  Officers from the Greater Sudbury Police Service will be attending Sault Ste. Marie on December 1, 2012 to return Levert to Greater Sudbury where he will attend court.

On December 1, 2012 at 12:55 am Patrol Officers observed a truck driving erratically on Trunk Rd. in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. Officers stopped the truck and spoke to the male driver and found that he had been drinking. The male, Stephen Dunn, age 52 of Sault Ste. Marie was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving and Driving over .08. He will appear in court on January 7th, 2013.
