Police uniform tunic stolen from west-end dry cleaner's

Missing garment was last seen on a bicycle Friday morning

Talk about a clean getaway.

A thief on a bicycle stole a Sault Police tunic from a west-end dry cleaner's this morning — pedalling away before anyone could catch them.

A tunic, similar to the one featured in the above photos, is worn by officers during formal events.

Sault Police issued a news release late this afternoon asking the public to be on the lookout for the garment, which was swiped in the 100 block of Second Line West.

"If anyone sees the tunic, or someone wearing the tunic, they are urged to contact Sault Police," the release says.
