SAULT STE MARIE POLICE SERVICE

On April 27, 2018 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 21-year-old Levi Laundrie of Goulais River for impaired driving.
Just after 2:30 a.m. officers responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle collision in the 100 block of Bainbridge Street. Officers observed a blue Chevrolet Silverado on its side in a front yard of a residence.
Officers spoke with the driver and determined that his ability to operate the motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
He was taken into custody and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level that was over the legal limit. He will appear in court on May 28, 2018.
