SAULT STE MARIE POLICE SERVICE

On Feb. 10, 2017 officers with the Criminal Investigations Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 23-year-old Tyler Vary of Amherst Street for failing to attend court.

It is alleged that on Nov. 7, 2016 the accused failed to attend court in answer to the charge of possession of stolen property. A warrant was issued for the accused and officers located him on Feb. 10, 2017. 

Upon his arrest the accused was [alleged to be] found to be in possession of a small amount of crack cocaine with a street value of $20.

The accused was arrested and charged with one count of failing to attend court and one count of possession of a controlled substance. He will appear in court on Mar. 20, 2017.
