Police arrest woman on assault charge

She is also charged with mischief under $5,000, criminal harassment and breach of probation

Sault Ste. Marie Police Patrol Services arrested a 35-year-old woman for assault on Nov. 27

Jaime McMillan is accused of damaging the side mirror of the victim's vehicle, and knocking the victim down while fleeing the scene. 

She was released and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 24, 2022.

On Nov. 27, 2021 officers with Patrol Services charged 35-year-old Jaime McMillan with assault.

Around 11:24 a.m. the accused damaged the side mirror of the victim’s vehicle on McNabb Street. When officers arrived on scene, the accused fled the area and assaulted the victim by knocking them to the ground. The accused and victim are known to each other.

The accused was arrested. She is charged with assault, mischief under $5,000, criminal harassment and breach of probation to keep the peace and be of good behavior. She was released and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 24, 2022.
