Sault Police are looking for witnesses — and video footage — after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle early this morning in Steelton.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of St. Georges Avenue West and Bush Street.
“The pedestrian sustained serious physical injuries and was transported to hospital,” says a news release issued this afternoon by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.
Police have not released the age, gender or condition of the pedestrian who was struck.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or may have dash cam or surveillance footage of the area, is urged to contact Traffic Services at 705-949-6300, ext. 348.
