A 51-year-old has been charged with arson after a fire was set on the property of a Korah Road business on Feb. 12 shortly before midnight.
The suspect left the scene at midnight, police say, and no injuries have been reported as a result of the fire.
It was estimated that the fire caused $14,000 in damage.
The officers later identified the suspect and issued the warrant for their arrest.
On Feb. 14, around 4 p.m., the suspect was located in the 600 block of Wellington Street West.
Scott Erdman, 51, has been arrested and charged with:
- Arson – damage to property
- Breach of probation – failing to keep the peace and be of good behaviour
Erdman was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
