The following seven persons will be appearing in bail court this morning: 1) A 20 year-old male was arrested at 7:50 pm on Wellington Street West and charged with one count of assault.
The following seven persons will be appearing in bail court this morning:

1) A 20 year-old male was arrested at 7:50 pm on Wellington Street West and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 21st of September the accused assaulted his ex-girlfriend outside a downtown residence by punching her in the face. The victim received injuries that did not require medical attention.

2) A 34 year-old male was arrested on the 21st of September at 7:30 pm on Great Northern Road and charged with one count of criminal harassment, one count of threaten death or bodily harm and two counts of harassing phone calls. It is alleged that the accused from the 14th to the 17th of September continuously followed his ex-girlfriend, telephoned her numerous times and left her several harassing messages. The accused followed the victim on one the occasions with his vehicle and rammed the victim’s vehicle when she was driving with her child inside. There were no injuries reported. The accused also threatened to kill a male friend of the victim.

3) A 32 year-old female was arrested on the 21st of September at the city police station and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that the accused while at her east end residence, assaulted her common-law female partner by dragging her down a flight of stairs and pushing her head into a wall. The victim received injuries that did not require medical attention.

4) A 44 year-old male was arrested on McNabb Street on the 22nd of September at 2 pm and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 22nd of September at 11:15 am the accused attended at the west end residence of his ex-girlfriend and assaulted her by grabbing her around the shoulders and head butting her in the forehead. The victim received injuries that did not require medical attention.

5) A 40 year-old female was arrested on the 23rd of September at 6:05 pm at downtown residence and charged with two accounts of assault, two counts of threaten death or bodily harm, one count of mischief under $5000.00 and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused attended at her ex-boyfriend’s downtown residence and assaulted him by pushing him and punching him in the head. The accused also pushed a male friend of the victim that tried to intervene. The accused threatened to kill both of them and damaged the entrance door. The accused was on probation at the time of the incident with conditions not to communicate with the ex-boyfriend or attend at his residence.

6) 36 year-old Darcy Quinnell of 507 52nd Avenue in Calgary, Alberta was arrested at 6:21 pm on the 22nd of September at a local hotel and charged with one count of mischief under $5000.00 and one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance. It is alleged that on this date just after 6 pm city police were called to a disturbance in one of the rooms at the hotel. When officers entered the room they discovered a window had been broken and the room was ransacked. The accused was found alone in the room in a very agitated intoxicated condition. It is further alleged that the accused was found to be in possession of small amount of psilocybin.

Armed Robbery at Mr. Sub

City police attended to an armed robbery at Mr. Sub on Trunk Road on the 23rd of September at 8:59 pm. A lone male entered the store with a handgun and demanded cash. The clerk complied with the demands and the male fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The clerk was not physically harmed in the incident. The male was described as white, 18-19 years of age, dark eyebrows, wearing a black bandana, jacket and toque, blue jeans and gloves. Officers search the area with negative results. Car Accident on Trunk & Dacey Road

City Police attended at the scene of a motor vehicle collision on the 21st of September at 6:45 am at the intersection of Trunk Road and Dacey Road. It is alleged that a blue 1987 GMC pick-up operated by a 21 year-old female was travelling northbound on Dacey Road, stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Trunk Road and then pulled out to turn westbound onto Trunk Road. The vehicle was struck by a 1997 black GMC Sierra pick-up that was eastbound on Trunk Road being operated by a 28 year-old male. The female, 21 year-old Jamie McMillan of 1143 Echo River Road in Echo Bay Ontario received minor injuries that did not require medical attention and she has been charged with one count of fail to yield to traffic on through highway under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario. The vehicles received severe damage.
