MAN ASSAULTED BY COUPLE 29-year-old Timothy Mitchell of 49 Borron Avenue and 21-year-old Holly Boissoneau of Sagamok, Ontario will be in bail court this morning after they allegedly assaulted a male on Friday evening around 9 pm.

29-year-old Timothy Mitchell of 49 Borron Avenue and 21-year-old Holly Boissoneau of Sagamok, Ontario will be in bail court this morning after they allegedly assaulted a male on Friday evening around 9 pm.

It is alleged that the two accused persons were in the victim’s apartment when they started to punch and stomp on his head as he lay on the floor. The victim did not require hospital treatment for his injuries.

Both of the accused were on probation orders with terms to keep the peace and be good. Both accused have been charged with one count of assault and one count of breach of probation. Alcohol was a factor in this incident.


ASSAULTED GIRLFRIEND
A 34-year-old male will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested for 2 counts of assault on Friday evening. Around 7 pm the accused got into an argument with his girlfriend and ended up punching and kicking her several times.

When her friend tried to intervene the accused kneed the friend and also punched her in the face. Both victims received swelling to the facial areas.


EXPOSING HIMSELF DOWNTOWN
On Saturday afternoon an employee of a business in the downtown area had a problem with a male bothering her.

Kenny Boyer, age 32, of no fixed address, went into the business 4 times and kept wanting the employee to come outside. When the employee refused to do so, Mr. Boyer pulled off his pants and exposed himself to the employee and also stuck out his tongue in a licking gesture. Mr. Boyer then left the area.

The employee called police who located Mr. Boyer not far from the business. When the officer went to arrest the accused, Boyer resisted. While being handcuffed, the accused told the arresting officer he was dead and that he would come after the officer when he got out of jail.

Boyer has been charged with two counts of an indecent act, one count of threatening death, one count of resisting arrest and one count of criminal harassment. He will appear in bail court this morning.


DRINKING & DRIVING
Over the weekend three persons were arrested for drinking and driving related offences. On the 11th shortly after 9 pm, Keith Marshall, age 49, of 879 Carpin Beach Road was arrested and charged with impaired driving and consuming over the legal limit.

On the same date shortly before 11 pm, 55-year old Craig Lamming of 164 Johnson Avenue was also arrested and charged with impaired driving and consuming over the legal limit. Both of these males were arrested after their manner of driving caught the attention of officers working that night. They both will appear in court on October 18th.

On Sunday evening Lee- Ann Hudebine, age 37 of 29 Albert Street East ran the cube truck she was operating into a PUC pole in the 100 block of Albert Street East (photo in news section).

Hudebine was found to be intoxicated and has been charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consuming over. She will also appear in court on October 18th.


SUSPICIOUS MAN ARRESTED
City Police arrested 23-year old Michael Gerner of 35 Hughes Street shortly after 1 am on Saturday night after receiving a call of a suspicious male in a yard in the downtown area. When checked by officers the accused had a screwdriver and clippers in his possession as well as 3 sets of keys.

At the time of the offence the accused was on probation with terms to keep the peace and be good. The accused has been charged with one count of breach of probation, one count of trespass by night and one count of possession of housebreaking tools. He will appear in court on October 18th.
